The Accessible Aquarium Project was an NSF funded "sonification" project in which visual information is transformed into auditory information. The purpose was to enhance the experience of going to the aquarium for people with visual impairments. This is a demo of the software running on the Ocean Voyager tank at the Georgia Aquarium. Computer vision is used to measure the scene activity in real-time and used to set the parameters of an autonomous generative music system.
